if you're gonna be a fuckin redskins fan at least KNOW your schedule, you MIGHT beat the eagles MONDAY but i doubt it.

not to mention when u finally play us (NY FOOTBALL GIANTS) you dont stand a chance. my only divisional worry is the eagles at this point but we'll clean up the rest of the schedule just fine.

i bet the giants in superbowl weeks ago and it seems like my odds are gettin better by the day.

The Colts have done jackshit this year. Considering they are in the AFC, the historically harder and tougher division I doubt they are going to make it.

...historically tougher? The NFC is ahead of the AFC 23-21 in Superbowl wins. The AFC has been a bit tougher the last handful of years (ironically in large part to the Colts...), but the parity throughout the NFL is very apparent, and it's not like the NL vs. AL debate in MLB at all.

Jackshit? They've played their #4 RB significant snaps, lost Peyton's favorite target to injury, and suffered yet ANOTHER injury to a key playmaker against the Birds the other day. Despite all of that, they're tied for first in the AFC South and sitting at a relatively comfortable 5-3, considering that the whole league is mediocre. They've shown a real toughness and perseverance, and are possibly gearing up to reel off several wins in a row.

On offense they are: 5th in total offense, 3rd in yards per game, 3rd in passing, 2nd in yards passing/game, 6th in total points, and 3rd in points per game.

On defense they are: 5th in pass defense and admittedly soft against the run. If they—by scheme or personnel—get their run defense together, they're right there in the conversation for BEST team in the league...on paper OR on the field.

Seriously.....where do you get jackshit from? Your ass?

The Colts will get healthy, see some key players return, and very likely could make a run through the playoffs. The Colts are a perfectly logical pick (even though I think Baltimore or Pittsburgh will emerge from the AFC) and Peyton Manning is perfectly capable of putting his team on his shoulders and getting it done.

I hate when people make stupid statements with ZERO basis in reality. Especially, when the person behaves as if they're an expert on all things.

Though one must realize logic has no place in picking superbowl teams.


Look at the Steelers when they won the superbowl against the Seahawks. They went fucking 10-6 that year.

The Indianapolis Peyton Mannings will make the playoffs...and from there you have one of the most clutch QB's in the league...it would not surprise me if the Colts make it back to back...I am not a fan of them but they are still a good team.

The point is that you saying they haven't done "jack shit" is jack shit.

Baltimore is getting worked by ATL as I type this...I don't think most people would have thought that would be the case...you have no idea what will happen if the Colts meet either of those teams in the playoffs, and no one else does either.

And....."again"? They haven't played either the Steelers or the Ravens this year, and they don't have either on their schedule at all. You don't know what you're talking about, just talking to talk, as usual.

The Colts beat the Ravens TWICE last year and haven't lost to them since 2001...

Colts haven't played Pitt since '08....a game they won.

Colts vs. either of those teams is pretty much a coin toss, and will depend heavily on who secures homefield advantage, and who's healthier. Actually, the Colts may not even have to play either of those teams en route to the big dance, so yeah, just head back to some other worthless NSG thread and post pictures and songs and gifs or whatever.

The Colts will win their division and make the playoffs. The Titans won't hold up in the divison and the Texans are falling apart every week including after that hail marry loss to the Jaguars.

The Giants play the Eagles this week and Vick is hot right now so we will see how their defense shapes up after their loss to the Cowboys.

A win for each team in that game is huge. Both will make the playoffs.

NFC Wildcard: Eagles/Giants (which ever team loses Sundays game is the wildcard) and the Bears
Division Champs: Eagles/Giants( who ever wins Sundays game) Packers, Falcons and Seahawks

AFC Wildcard: Jets and Ravens
Division Champs: Patriots, Chargers, Colts, Steelers

I +k'd everyone who picked the ravens. That video gave me the chills and i was smiling the whole time. I would defianlty like to see Baltimore beating indy in AFC and then beating like philly in the superbowl.

I could definitely see Philly representing the NFC in the superbowl, but we will see what happens when Vick gets shut down in a game how productive their offense is....if they trap him in the pocket their offense is nothing. If you let him extend the play he will shred you.

Their defense isn't that great at all.

D carried 'em. And, they got to Vick, and hit em....what did he do? Only throw two sure tds only to watch them bounce off of Avant's chest and Jackson's hands.

This game should've been over in the first half.

NO ONE is better than the Eagles in the NFC. No one. Can they be beaten? Sure. Will they win the NFC? I don't know...maybe not....but they're the BEST team.

Juan Castillo has quietly turned a patchwork, journeymen o line into one of the best in football.

well my hatred from philly comes from the hatred of the flyers- which then turned to the philly and eagles- Philadelphia is without a doubt the shittiest city on the east coast, its fans are fucking scumbags- ie beating up a dad while his 8 year old son watched at the season home opener- for wearing opposing colors- plus I live in central pa- where its all ravens steelers, or eagles- and consistently the douchebags in my area are philly fans

That all sounds pretty silly. Philadelphia sports fans are some of the most knowledgable and passionate fans in professional sports. I have lived less than 25 miles from the sports complex my entire life, and I will say definitively that this notion that Philly fans are somehow less classy than any other "real" fanbase is completely a creation of the media. It's bullshit. I'll tell you right now that Philly fans are no different than any of the other oldschool blue collar sport cities, ie Boston, Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh, etc.

 Throw a few snowballs at Santa, boo some people, and have a few fights, and all of a sudden we're all scum? Give me a break. I've been to countless philly sport events and I can count on one hand the number of physical altercations I've witnessed. In fact, I've seen more little league dads throw blows than philly sports fans. The only thing that I'll concede is that Philly fans demand success from their teams and players, and if the drought goes on too long, people can get restless...basically it's a bit of a fickle, harsh fan base...but douche bags? Nope.

But hey, we're all entitled to "hate" whatever we want.
