Have any of you guys seen one of these beasts? My friend wants to buy one for her apartment. I researched, and It's from the breed of Angora rabbits, but this is a newer breed thats is much larger.

Thats what I've been telling her, but she's dedicated an entire room to it, and has her heart set on this thing.



Personally I think that it's one of the creepiest fucking pets.

yep, they live in flanders, part of belgium where i live, once saw a wild one in a cornfield, it scared the crap outta me !

normally they're a domesticated species, but there is a wild population right around where i live, big fucking bunnies :)

yeah, but the domesticated ones are really gentle and the escaped wild ones are very shy ...

so chances of getting attacked by one are very slim, altough i did hear a story about a dog once chasing down a flemish giant and getting knocked out by the rabbit :D

dunno if its true tough, a fisherman told it to me...
He has a reputation of telling amazing things like that

but seriously, just get a dog, bunnies suck. my friend has a bunny, and it absolutely adorable, and every time you approach it it jumps up to the side of the cage and you get all excited, then when it realizes you don't have food, it just goes back to sitting. they're pretty dumb animals, not really capable of playing, or showing affection, or any of the awesome things about getting a dog.

but imho you shouldn't fear them, 1 because they're a prey animal and will prefer running away instead of going for a confrontation....
