this question is on a supplement for a college application.

"Imagine you could ask any question as part of the college application. What question would you ask, why would you ask it, and how would you respond?"

If I could ask a question, how could I then respond to my own question? is there something i'm not getting here?

Open your mind. It's just an opportunity for you to show off whatever you've got. The most impressive thing is if you can identify what you've got, and exploit it. If that's skiing, go with that. If it's something else, rock out. But they're letting you do whatever you want, and most of all, you should be confident in your answer.

I like it, but I would use caution with hot button issues such as this. You don't know you on the admissions board will be reading your application and how they feel about the death penalty. Although college admission departments claim to be objective, shit does happen
