used to play, glad i dont any more.
wow vs girls/job/gym/night out with my boys
ill choose the latter, thank you very much
go to the gym. it wouldn't hurt your physical health
get some friends. it wouldn't hurt your social health
do some reading/studying. it wouldn't hurt your mental health
get a job. it wouldn't hurt your financial health
it's possible, yes. but i guarantee if you saw a picture of the average wow nerd, they'd be out of shape, flabby, greasy, antisocial highschool/college kids with a C average. or some weird old dude who lives alone working a minimum wage 9-5 job.
think about it. even if you do have time for video games, there's always something better you can be doing with your time. it's just bad practice, and wow is one of those games that's so involved that the people who do play it, tend to do it to the exclusion of other things that are important to your life. it's one thing to pick up a game here or there for an hour. it's another to stare at a computer screen every night for like 5-8 hours.
but if you like playing video games. that's cool. all the more girls for me :))))))))
oh of course. but a stereotype is based on observation. i've been around real wow nerds. the bulk of them really are hopeless human beings who slowly piss away their lives. gonna be chasing epics until the day they die. you know, the kind of people who, if they lost their internet connection one evening, would actually cry and not know what to do with themselves and have a panic attack, and there are more of them out there than you'd think.
p.s, i think im the only guy ever that does not play a single video game. no xbox, no playstation, no wii, no computer games, no flash games, no cell phone apps. nothin. i waste a lot of time on NS right now, but hey, i just graduated from college. fuck if i care. i'm just bein social and goofin off while i take the time to find a career and settle down.
i'm all man.
nice profile picture. i bet you're just like this chick
but i believe you. you're completely normal and not a nerd.................
yeah the guy who doesn't play vids is a tool
hehe
many professional athletes play video games too. makes sense. when under a strict contract, there are so many limitations on what you can and can't get involved in as a past time activity. playing video games helps pass time, is fun, and is risk free in terms of physical harm to your body.
that said, i highly doubt a significant amount of people that play video-games are high caliber athletes. just nerds who try to justify their addiction by saying 'well i do other stuff toooooo gawddd'
even then, they might end up like this guy

now tell me that isn't a nerd. pisses away a relationship for video games..
