I believe I should be mod because I enjoy my visits on Newschoolers.com. I also believe I would cater to most of the members needs like banning Alias', getting rid of sexism, and ending racism on here. Also, I would never give this sit up or let it down. When I am mod, I will never run around and hurt the feelings of this wonderful site. I will never make members upset in which they would cry, I will never leave and say goodbye to this great e-establishment. And last and foremost, I will never, ever, ever tell a lie and hurt the members of this site.

"Maybe there is a beast....maybe it's only us."  Like William Golding's fantasy island in his novel Lord of the Flies,  Newschoolers is roughly the equivalent of anarchy.  The only reason NS doesn't debilitate into burning island of chaos is because of good, ethical moderators who strive to protect NS while not abusing their power.  This is precisely why I should be a moderator: I understand the necessity for unabusive authority and will work towards perfection in this goal as a moderator.  History has proven that neither authoritarianism nor anarchy are successful in producing a happy populace.  I am aware of the thin line I will have to walk in between these two extremes and am fully prepared to accept the challenge.  Thus, I should be moderator.
