Seriously, hard to mess up cause generally one size fits all.


Think about a jacket she owns and pick up a scarf/hat set. Even better if you can make it yourself. Then it costs you $6 and 2 long movies.

Slippers are always enjoyable as well, but you need to know what size shoe. I have 3 pairs of slippers. They bring me joy every day.

if she is over 16... do not buy lotion. I just started regifting it at some point. You can only have so much lotion... stuff lasts quite a while.

especially if you make it. find out what she's into and put on songs you know she likes and some you think she might like/not know. also, if you want to date her in the future then she will already have songs that remind her of you... girls like that kind of thing.

One birthday present I got a girl once was a little incense set. Along with a journal with hand made paper from Tibet.
She loved it.

I don't know if your friend is into that stuff.

You can also get a hemp necklace/bracelet kit and bead her name into it.

Or a set of knock off sunglasses.
Women enjoy shiny sunglasses.

I think we all need a little more info on this "Friend of yours".  If it is truely just a friend then go friendy things, like music, movies, scarf, stuff from a body store (bath and body works), candles...

If you are trying to get with her, go with: jewelry either bought or made or something more from the heart.

If you are already going out with this said friend then: VS is okay (kind of creepy if you are just friends), jewelry, take her out on a real date (dinner at a nice place aka wine and dine her), make her dinner....

Ok, here's how to get the instant win. I'm guessing that you're into this girl and  you think that if you hit a home run on her birthday that'll be the game changer. So, what you need to do is something that means SOMETHING. Spending a lot makes you seem desperate, and honestly, if she's into you spending a ton of money on her, she's a gold digger and not worth it. Usually, girls will give you subtle hints of what they want from you. Women are suckers for anything that invokes a memory. So, as dumb and cheap as it sounds, do something like giving her a framed picture of you and her, or take her to a place she talks about all the time. It not only shows that you listen to what she says, but that you actually care about it.

it all depends on the relationship you have with the girl. i have several girl friends that our relationships are founded on a similar sense of humor. so if you're in a situation like that, get a gift that's a joke between the two of you. its not only funny, but it shows that youre actually putting thought into the gift.
if its a girl youd like to get closer to, get her a meaningful gift or take her out somewhere. all you really need is a nice card[ and a promise to take her out to dinner, to a movie, or something you guys would enjoy together. that quality time together could strengthen your friendship or even spur a relationship in the making.

ok so being a girl i would personally find it weird if (if you really are just friends) my guy friend got me jewelry. it can easily be taken the wrong way and i really wouldn't want them to spend more $ than they should. my suggestion is a starbucks gift card. idk what it is about us girls, but there is nothing better than getting coffee after school with friends and not having to pay for it
