Line Blend

I've been looking at getting  a pair of Line Blend and can get a pretty good deal on the 09 model, would probably be getting some Griffon bindings on them. But I've been looking at the new Line Blends with the earl rise and I could splash out a bit more and get them with cheaper bindings ie. the Squire or even add quite a bit more and get them with the Griffons too. The rockered early rise tip on the new ones doesn't seem that pronounced so I was wondering how much of a difference this spec actually makes and if I should pay the extra cash for it. Thanks.

This years Blends are slightly softer in flex compared to the last 2 previous models. Also they will ski slightly shorter as well, again compared to the last 2 previous models.

Another thing, the last 2 previous models are exactly the same, just different graphics.

Personally, if I was to have a choice of which Blends to get, I'd get this years as it'll float better in the deep stuff and will still be an amazing ski to ride in the park and on groomers.

Thanks for your view. I'm just weighing up my options and trying to decide if I think it is worth paying the difference and I've got a dilema with what bindings. I was nearly convinced then went to see them again in the shop and the early rise is so minmal I'm not sure how much of a difference it will actually make.

if you're westcoast go with this years for the better float in the pow, if your EC get last years.

I'm from Europe just come on here because people on NS seem to have good knowledge. I ski a bit of powder and a bit of park so was just wondering how much your reckon the early rise will influence the ski as it seems to be very mild compared to some of the other skis in the same category. How significant is it going to be in the powder and will it influnce the ski elsewhere on the mountain?

it's going to make it ski considerably better in the pow.. rocker is the tits in any amount of pow

Yeah it sounds like a good spec but the early rise is so subtle it seems nearly insignificant will it really make a lot of difference? Also how will the new softer flex and slight rocker-camber-rocker make this year's model behave on hard pack for carving and holding edges?
