Big Hip skis and snowboards will be putting on a ski and snowboard rail jam on sat nov 20th. Big Hip skis and snowboards is a new missoula montana based ski and snowboard company and they will be one of the main sponsors as well as RED BULL and of course a few other local ones as well. the event will be held at CARAS PARK in downtown missoula.
The event will be OPEN to ALL who are over 18 and sign a waiver and helmets are required! the entry fee for riders will be 15 dollars (no fee to come n chill of course!) there will be music along with a few local booths and possibly some food vendors.
the event will be a jam style format where everyone can ride and session and then top 15 skiers and snowboarders will advance to a final round where there will be a CASH PURSE for 1st 2nd and 3rd place! and of course there will be hard n soft good throw-outs as well, along with other various prizes etc.
the set up will be a 16 ft wide 20 stair set with 3 features. we are custom building the stair-set to where all features will be at a 15 degree angle! the 3 features are as follows:
1. skiers left a 24 ft donkey dick style down rail
2. in the middle a 20 ft circular down rail urban style
3. skiers right will be a 20 ft down-box
all features are set on the same custom built set, n shit is guna be fucking legit!!
if you are in or around missoula during the 20th (same day as cat griz game) come out and check it out, it WILL be an awesome time!
