So my brothers and I are road trippin it from MN to ski Targhee and Jackson for a week. I've skied both places before but never this early in the season. Anyone got any advise on where its at on either mountain that time of year?

targhee always has more snow...on average about 100 more inches per year. also that early there might actually be some cliffs to hit on the main hill, so you don't have to hit up the super gnar to hit some fun 5-10 footers.
but just make ur decision when u get there, there super close

last year jackson didnt really turn on that hard until mid january but still solid skiing none the less. like he said, targhee's averages are always higher. targhee is also not very crowded which leaves for a solid day of skiing after a storm
