Tailoring a jacket

If i have a jacket that is wide and tall is it possible to have it tailored to make it a little less wide

Well I don't know about taking fabric away from the jacket, but I had a draw string put in the bottom of one of my jackets. It works great and looks like it was originally part of the jacket. I just took it to the place my mom has her clothes and shit done. Hope that helps

Well every dry cleaner where I live also does tailoring. Which is where I got my jacket lengthened and fixed up.

i got my oakley pants tailored, cause they are huge (wide) and the length didnt provide enough bagginess so instead of buying new pants for a $100+ i paid a tailor to add 3 inches of length to my pants, in your case if you can find a tailor that would have the time and patience, for they may have to fix the differnt materials inside the jacket, it could be done
