What should I work on to get the most out of it? I want to learn to backflip (shouldn't be hard), but what else should I take advantage of while I am there because I don't get the opportunity often

foam pits are so much fun, but you'll find that out.

if theres a foam pit get at least double fronts, super easy when your not worried about getting hurt. that would be realy good to teach yourself to hold the tuck and not puss out.

just go huck into the foam pit. Make sure you are getting tons of air and being patient.

I'd try rodeos if I were you. I had like 10 minutes with a trampoline guy over the summer and I learned to backflip decently, and I feel like the next step is rodeos plus they look super delicious on snow

If you cant do lincoln looops then you should also learn it.
pretty easy to do and also cool on snow imo

yea lincoln loops are easy on the tramp. (at least for me) Never tried them on the snow tho. Just a commitment issue combined with being on the east coast and now having any pow to learn tricks on. So if i mess up I could be out for the season. Oh well i guess its time to grow a pair and huck it

i think you can do a backflip.
doesnt mean you actually know how to do them properly.
it takes more than 10 min to learn how to do a nice backflip.
you should just do tons of backflip to help you find your way in the air.
bio 5 are easy also, or flatspins 5.
but dont go and huck some stupid stuff you wont learn anything.
just practice the backflip it s really the basis for all the other inverted tricks like rodeo, flats...
if you have a consistent backflip you can learn rodeos in 5 min...

yeah hucking random shit into the foam pit is super fun but you wont really learn much. practice tricks that you want to try on snow instead

Backflips on a tramp are alot different from doing one on anything else, I have a friend that can backflip perfectly off a ledge into a foam pit, but is to scared to actually try them on the tramp. Also, once you do learn a backflip, it takes a while to be able to do any variations, you have to get really comfortable being upside down, then everything else will come pretty easily. If you are able to, try going there often, just having time on the tramp will help you progress. If you can't definitley buy one, you wont regret it

that's fair, I'm not claiming that my backflips are perfect or anything. In fact, I often find myself looking a little over my shoulder coming around instead of straight back which puts the flip off axis a little bit...
