Good store to get a avy beacon

so im looking for a good place to get a beacon in the Denver/littleton area this will be my first one so a shop that knows there stuff would help. Thanks

Bent Gate (http://bentgate.com) in downtown Golden is arguably the best backcountry shop in Colorado, they'll let you use any of the beacons in the shop before you buy to get a good feel. Wilderness Exchange and Neptune Mountaineering (in Boulder) are great too.

idk if you'd want to make the trip, but Neptune Mountaineering in boulder is all about that. they have a selection of beacons and are a backcountry-oriented store. they had a beacon practice and avy clinic yesterday actually

yeah either bent gate or alpenglow in golden. alpenglow is more of a ski specific shop, but they both are very knowledgeable about that sort of stuff.
