i say put every1 in cryogenic sleep on the chair ride up, like futuristic space travel.  This way the chair ride up will feel instantaneous, and the worried mothers will stop their bitching.   yes, no?

I saw a kid fall of and get caught on the chairlift by something and he was hanging there and no one stopped the lift for like a good 15 or 20 feet. everyone yelled at the lifties to stop.

It could be used as a discipline tool as well.   if the little homos cause a problem on the lift, keep them attached at the top for another trip around the chairlift.

"Only costs 1-2% of the cost of a chair lift." So what like $10,000? Yeah that's real cheap. If a kid can still manage to fall of a chair even with the bar down they should be sticking to the rope tow/carpet.

It's scarier to fall off a chair than you think at that age...

I was 6 or 7, didn't get on the chair properly,my instructor was busy helping the other kids on the chair, while the liftie was doing jack shit. I slipped out, my instructor was holding me by my hood and I was so scared. I could hear everyone yelling to stop the lift, but the guy just panicked. The hood zipper started to unzip, my instructors only choice was to drop me at 30 feet and hope I make it, or keep holding on, which only got higher.

I was dropped, landed on hard pack. Snapped my tib/fib in my left leg. Ski boot to the chin, so that got split open.
I remember the out of body experience watching me lay there unconscious with people gathered around, then waking up on a toboggan, then waking in the ambulance, then waking with a cast.


If this was around 12 years ago, things would have been much better for me. I wouldn't have a huge scar in my chin, wouldn't have this terrible memory in my head. I wouldn't have reoccurring nightmares of falling of a chairlift. It's not a fear of mine, only a subconscious fear.
