St Sorlin d'arves France,
south side descent of the ouillon,
it's accessed by the north side, you take the ouillon lift towards le corbier and when you get off, don't turn left towards the slopes, but turn right and walk up the mountain towards the iron cross, it's a 10minutes inbounds hike.
When you're at the cross you look down to the St sorlin village , you'll be in a wide gulley running towards the village, traverse the gulley to the right and cross over the ridge onto the open plane, follow this plane down until you hit some roadgaps (you're skiing down the col de la croix de fer, famous from the tour de france) once you hit the first road drop (you can ski over it, the roads are closed in winter and covered by snow) stay to the left side so you end up in the village instead of in the river gulley :)
it's a descent of 1000 altimeters, first part is technical big mountain riding, middle part is open big mountain so you can charge down, lower parts is first roadgaps, perfectly suited for dropping or bridging and lower parts is open meadows with occasionally a tree, turning into a dense forest right before you drop straight into the village center, ready to amaze the dozen tourists that have been watching your descent from in the pub :)
