I got my new skis mounted at my shop and i told them center mounted but when i picked them up they guy said said he put them 2 centimeteres away from center mounted because it was better for park. But i was pretty sure center mounted was the best. What do you all use?
-2 cm ish is the best for ALL MOUNTAIN, because you get more balance and stability while still being able to ride switch and spin pretty quick. For just park, though, center mounting is the best. It gives the best switch riding, the fastest spins, and the best balance on rails. That tech is a dick for not doing what you paid him to do.
-2 can be better depending on the ski. Regardless, I would have flipped a shit if that had happened to me. I definitely would have at least refused to pay.
if that was me, depending on the ski and if i def wanted them mounted center i would demand a new pair of skis! its not up to the tech where he mounts them, its up to you!
