Cannon T2i Stabilizer?

I am getting a cannon T2I in about a week and i was wondering if this stabilizer would be the correct size that i need or do i need to step it up to the next size?

and also could someone tell me if the t2i is fire wire or usb compatible.

canon t2i...the stabilizer's website claims "Ideal for video capable DSLRs!", and the t2i is usb compatible, but using an sd card reader to put the files on a computer is what I would recommend

just spend an extra 85 bucks and get the glidecam 2000

I recommend it as well, but its not really essential.

SD cards are nowhere close to fast enough to be too fast for a USB. Basically if the camera had firewire, it wouldnt be any faster then the USB, even if it was firewire 8 or an e sata port.

More about the SD card speed ( which varies depending on cards) then the output device.

could you tell me what the difference if between the link posted and the glide cam you are talking about.

it's basically a knock-off of a glidecam. i've never used one but i saw an edit made with a Flycam like this and it wasn't nearly as smooth as a glidecam is. that could have just been user error though, i don't know
