Subaru Outback Sport-Yes or No?

Get a WRX, and raise it with forester suspension. It's faster, and will be better offroad.

Almost got the sport 3 years ago, drove it and loved it, sat in the back seat while my dad drove it, and i couldn't move... no room, i couldn't move... and i am 5'2 and 105 lbs. So i got a subaru outback instead and it is perfect. plenty of room for everyone

I didn't like the Outback Sport when I test drove it.  It was erratic and felt like a mini-Outback.  I agree with the above post about space too.  If you're taking it skiing you will appreciate the increased room for gear/friends.

I test drove it too, but I didn't find erratic. Although my driving in general is pretty erratic. I feel like if I put a roof box on it, I would have room for gear and people.

believe me, people would not be very happy haha. putting two people in that seat which is supposed to fit 3 is cruel... me sitting back there by myself i was pretty unhappy haha. even if you dont have any gear.

but it sounds to me you have already made a decision and you are trying to justify it

well there is an impreza outback sport and a legacy outback sport.

ive really had no problems in an impreza outback with three people in the back seat or two people in the back with one seat down for stuff. sure it might be cramped but you can move around a bit.

personally i really like the impreza outback sport since the legacy looks like a volvo wagon aka soccer mom car.

there's no legacy outback sport.
and if you're even considering the wrx just get it unless insurance will be too much, otherwise you'll always wish you got it instead of the outback sport

i own one, i like it, people always complain about the shitty small backseat, i myself, sit in the front, all the time.

great gas mileage, zippy drive, great in snow.

I've got a forester 2.5x and have never gotten stuck in anything. been in 2 ft of snow, super slushy NJ snow and lots of other stuff.

I have one of these. Only bad thing is, at least on mine which is an 07, the rack bars on top have to be from dodge and then they charge you a ton for the ski rack. So we just bought it from Inno and then I have a fairing from Inno too, but I had to buy longer screws for because the dodge bars are different from regular bars. Overall it drives great in the snow, better than my 01 land rover, and has an amazing sound system for stock.

There's no way any american car will ever be as high quality or especially as reliable as a Subaru or any other foreign car. 95% of american cars suck. Anyone who knows anything about cars will tell you this. You shouldn't buy a shitty car just to be patriotic, should you?

i have a 2006 Impreza Outback Sport and i fucking love it.
Amazing in the snow. i have my skis on a rack ontop and then all my gear in the back. Great car to drive and very reliable

While they do share the same frame, the Voltz is a real car that was sold in Japan and had the exact same body as the Vibe.
