You can live on just water for extended periods of time

I'm pretty sure some scientist once lived for quite awhile on water

And some middle eastern lady didn't eat for an extended period of time, like years

i fast every year for a day (really 25 hours) for a jewish holiday.

it is fucking brutal. you feel terrible by the last hour. i could not imagine doing it for a week. even if i never left the couch
