Best home rail setup

Right now, my neighbor and i have set up a board going down the 8 stair on my porch, astroturf on top with soap and water, and we have a metal rail made for skating. we cant get too much speed though, do you guys have any ideas on how to make the best setup or improve upon my idea? thanks.

go to build a jib, there is everything you need.

but, snow fence is always a good investment for speed issues. i don't use it, but everyone on here swears by it.
