I know it's a snowboard movie but TGR's Deeper starring Jeremy Jones is amazing. I love the concept of combining alpinism/mountaineering and ski/snowboarding to ride the lines that even the heli's and snowmobiles can't reach. I'm giving huge thumbs up to this movie.
If you've never heard of Deeper, look it up.
The snowboarding goes from Valdez, Haines, Tahoe, Chamonix, Antartica and more. And when you think "Oh well, most of those are pretty common in all ski movies" think again. They go beyond the reach of helicopters camping out and touring to these remote locations.
On top of that, there's a beautiful segment in California in some of the deepest "choker" pow I've ever seen and I'm from BC.
And if that wasn't enough, they go even Deeper into AK battling out more storms and going after huge lines. This movie has impressed me.
If you looking for urban, rails, park segments, this movie isn't for you, but otherwise, skier or snowboarder I highly recommend it.
