After watching the mixtape seeing him kill it on urban/pow jibs, tossing dubs, doing pretty much every aspect of skiing and destroying it. Made me come to realize he might be one of the best skiers out there today!

level headed? the kids must be a mad man, i read in powder that he was driving 70 in a 30 and nearly hit one child in a school zone and took out a mailbox as he was careening up over the sidewalk as a mother and a newborn were crossing the street to get to sunday school.

LJ is a fucking animal, a freakishly talented athlete, and just a really, really, fun person. I'm pretty sure it's impossible to have more fun in bindings than him. His shit in Work it Out.....particularly his BC/pow jibbing was jaw dropping. Cork Zero spin hand drag thingy over a tree pillow? Umm....

Pluuuuus....I got him a beer at the Orage party when he was underage and we're like automatic bff's now.

Thats kinda it though, sometimes he just seems to get carried away with what he can do, instead of doing what flows with the feature. His ability to get tech is rediculous, but his style kinda goes out the window when he pushes it.

I was joking, man. I was really using your post to make a larger criticism of people's tendency to equate "style" with a handful of coolguy approved tricks.

I don't understand your issue with his trick selection and how that really relates to style. You mean you think he spins too much on or off of jibs or something?

switch ups at times, but a good example of what i mean is, he'll like rodeo a flat to flat gap over a fence in the streets, to me it seems like an odd trick to do on a feature like that. I grew up around skateboarding though, so i dont really think inverted tricks on flat to flat gaps or out of rails.
