i have express, it works great for me but i haven't used fcp. express is great for what i need and u can do a relatively good amount of stuff that looks pretty good in it

Final cut pro will obviously be better than express as far as versatility and features. But, that doesn't mean it's right for you. It depends on how quickly you learn and the type of footage you will be editing.

basically the same thing but with different export setting and some other shit.
if u have pro no point in using fce

Ya i got FCP 7 and it took me a little while to get the hang of it. But just watch some tutorials on youtube, it helped me out a bunch.
