It’s finally coming our way….LOW PRESSURE! Bye, bye 65deg days and slush shredding. We are suspending operations tentatively until Tuesday so we can best take advantage of the favorable snowmaking weather heading our way in addition to what hopefully turns out the be the first major snowfall of the 2010-2011 season.
Temps are looking really good sun – thurs nights. The winds are kinda all over the place though…so sunday we will be blowing back under the lift towards Nugget with west winds, monday back on Castle peak with east winds, tuesday they shift back forcing us to blow back under the lift. We will make snow at every opportunity and just play the wind. By the weekend we should have a lot more terrain open than last week. As soon as consistent east winds return we will be working to add lower CORE park and upper Prospector as well.
