Do hockey arena's really care if you bring a roll-in and rail behind their arena and sesh??

It depends on the arena?

I went yesterday to one like half an hour from my house, got a bunch of snow in trashbags, put it in the back of my car, and brought it back to my friend's house (aKrieg).

Isn't it easier to do that?

I work at an ice arena in the Denver-ish area and I know we have kids coming up all the time and asking if they can just take the snow. Our manager is pretty cool, and while he won't let them set up and sesh out back (liability if you crack your head on their property) he'll let you take the snow.

Some of the Zamboni drivers are the ones who will tell you to leave, but sometimes they are really chill and will drop snow right on the landing for you. Just depends on the person who is working. Most people are really interested in what you are doing and will gladly let you stay.

yeah when we used to do this half the time some prick would be working and act like we asked for his left arm, most the time they'd be stoked on it and ask where we wanted the snow so we could bring it to our truck. just check out the scene and be nice

yeah i mustve missed the part about hitting the rail there. i wouldnt do that, just use a truck or something and take the snow somewhere else, itd be more fun that way anyway

Would be a lot easier to just pick up the snow, I haven't had a problem doing that yet.

i think it all depends on who's working.

we always go to the same arena, cuz they are cool with it. the first time we set up, they came up, checked it out, and were pretty impressed. we set up a banshee bungee pulling in to a rail and small jump. one of the guys who worked snowboarded, so he was stoked, the other was just chill. we've been every saturday, and they now even dump the snow where we want/need it !

last saturday, the cops rolled in to see what we were doing. once they figured out we were just skiing/boarding, and that the arena dudes knew, they just said it was fine and left.

just try it, the worst that's gonna happen is they're gonna tell you to leave.

It sucks our arena hoards it and doesn't let you get some unless you are hosting a rail jam. which really sucks because a lot of time it just melts.

This is true, but at my arena they put it in a nice big pile and we use it as a drop in. It's much easier then bringing snow to a hill and then running out on the landing.
I think if you just don't leave trash or anything people don't care and are always interested and check it out by watching.

The arena I go to, the guys are really good with us going there. The zamboni driver actually gets pissed when we don't call him ahead of time to dump snow at the top of the in run. Plus anytime we have something go wrong with a rail or something, we just knock on his door and he lets in the workshop and allows us to use any tools. 

But to answer your question....I dont think so.

Yo Alex we have a little set up behind Carlisle arena (hand rail, big PVC, im bringing a flat and up box and probably a PVC rail)

Ya im probably bringing the boxes over tonorow but i night session on Friday when the skate is on o we can get the Zambonie drivers to drop the snow in the run in. But there are a couple other kids that go and help build to sesh
