Fallout 3 endings?

Okay this has always bugged me. I never got to finish but I know theres many endings. Is there and ending where your father and the girl and your charecter stay alive? Just wondering if anyone knew if there's a "happy" ending. I already tried the wiki page but it was too damn confusing

I try and avoid the main story quest line all together. There is a fuckload of other quests that blow the main quest line away.

this the story mode gets annoying as hell. i just like to become friendly with towns and people, do missions for them, then kill them and take all their stuff
