Which Ski?

I need a little advice here. I am in a deadlock between getting the Line A-bangs or K2 Domains this year and need to know which is better for my style. I ski mostly rails/jibs and not a lot of jumps (95%-5% if you need a margin.) I need edges that won't crack because I had 08-09 Suspects and I could not bear last season without edges. I've heard the A-bangs can take a hell of a lot of abuse, and as for the Domains, not much is written on the websites. With no camber I imagine that they will be pretty easy to surface swap, which is good. Which ski is lighter, and people who have demo-ed both skis, which did you prefer? Thanks.

armada and k2 are top for having bombproof skis, armada has a 2.5 mm edge and k2 has a 2.7 mm edge so they will handle the abuse very well

I'll take a look into the t-halls and apparently K2 has 3.5 mm edges?

k2 owns line sooooo yea they will both be bomb proof. a bangs prolly more so cause they specifically made to handle abuse. i think a bangs might be a bit better on rails but domain is prolly an overall better ski IMO

line's were bombproof way before k2 bought them... they were the first with fatty base/fatty edges.
Go with the A-Bang, rocker on park skis is retarded

i dont know about the k2s but the A-bangs are one of the most solid skis out there. they can take a huge beating on rails.

K2's park skis are 3.5mm edges - the thickest on the market today. Afterbangs DO NOT have 3.5mm edges, they only have 2.5mm edges, and while they are very durable, I wrecked those edges within about 2 months (and by the end of the season I had 2 feet missing underfoot in total). I'd go with the Domain, the rocker isn't as crazy as rocker on most skis and they're super fun all over the place.

Flashkick101 is right though, so what's your point?

To OP: Go with the Domains, the Rocker would be fun, they're probably better on rails with the no camber and all, and I personally hated Afterbangs when I tried them.  Never tried Domains, but I'm certain they'd be better.

Pk rides for K2 he has no choice. Hornbeck rides el reys mostly(camber), Xavier ride s4 jibs (camber), Kevin rolland rides s4 jibs(camber), collins skis for k2 no choice, margetts k2 no choice...you might as well keep naming k2 athletes because they just have no choice, every big name rider other than k2 riders (no choice) goes camber.

my point is that he said A-bangs edges are only 2.5mm. Yet they have fatty edges the same as domains.

but they're not...just cause K2 and Line are in the same factory doesn't mean they use the same material. K2s park skis have 3.5mm edges, Line do not...not only did I ride Lines last year and see the edge, but the shop's team manager went to the K2 Factory and watched both Lines and K2s park skis made and he told me they had different edges.

Go to the K2 site, they will tell you on their factory skis that the edges are 3.5mm, go to the line site, and they'll say "fatty" and that they're "twice the width of normal edges"...normal edges are 1.5mm (non-park skis) so at most their 3mm.

Well it depends on how you look at it.

PK rides rockered skis for K2, Hornbeck rides non-rockered for Armada, Xavier rides non-rockered for Rossignol, Kevin rides non-rockered for Rossignol, Collins rides rockered for K2, Margetts rides rockered for K2.

I'm sure if any of these guys really did not like the rockered skis, they would leave the company and find another sponsor fairly easily.  So my take on it is that they like the rockered skis.
