i need buy a 7d for a new job and need to sell this to fund it, i have owned this camera since july, its a great camera and in great condish, never been dropped, always had a screen protecter on since day 1, only the body is for sale(i may sell lens soon) i have a battery grip for it but it stopped working and is being replaced right now and should be back soon. sale includes camera body, 8gb class 6 card, 6 extra batteries, wireless remote, neck strap, battery grip, box and all paper work, only thing i dont have is the english manual.

I'm sure you know but I got two batteries for 10 bucks off ebay. Work great and hold charge just as long as the OG.

Curious of why you NEED a 7d for a job? You shooting auto racing photos or something? Are you guys playing catch with the 7ds on the job?

Just curious cuz there is no difference other then the body, 8fps stills, and outputs HD live to a monitor. T2i is actually a sharper camera.

If you dont have the answer and they just demand you have one, I understand that too.
Some employers in the film industry are just dumb. Heard a story of a guy that got turned down from a job because the employer wanted him to use a 5d and all he had was a RED, and I guess thats not uncommon. Pretty funny stuff.

i am shooting skiing and would like the weather sealed and magnesium alloy body, plus the 19 point auto focus system, and the 8fps i guess i dont need one but have wanted to upgrade for a while and this gives me a good reason to.

Gotcha. Dual digi processors definitely helps for the fps with stills. I have not tried to shoot burst on the t2i yet, but I have heard it also goes for a very short time in RAW. I know the 50d I used to own was awesome and it was only 4.7 I believe. I never needed more and it would shoot for a while even in RAW.
The body is a HUGE plus. I bought a lot of protection for my t2i for that reason. A rubber casing as well as a rain coat. I figure that should take care of the problem and it should hopefully last a couple of years of abuse.

You look into the 60d at all? Just asking because saving money is always something I look to do. It has a body that would be graded between the t2i and 7d. The screen is a little nicer and flips up and such, which is a plus for people that may not want to buy an external monitor (dont know why you wouldnt). The flip screen is actually a concern with durability I guess since its on hinges, but I must say I have never popped my screen off an HVX. Dont know anyone that has besides Trent.
60d is 5.3 fps raw I believe. A little slower then 7d, but I would imagine that could be enough? Also has manual audio levels.

I havent heard great reviews about it other then its practically the same as the 7d and t2i and kind of an unnecessary inbetween.

Maybe look into it. B&H is selling those puppies at 1 g, which is still 600 less then the 7d.

Oh you dont happen to have an intervelometer for that t2i do you? I kept mine from my 50d and it doesnt work with t2i's but it works with 7ds and 60ds. If you have one let me know and I would be very happy to trade you.

yeah ive looked in to the 60d but rather get the 7d cause of the weather sealing and the price of the 7d through the canon loyalty program is basically the same as the 60d, plus ive never been a fan of the swivel screen they just look like they are gonna break off, and i dont need manual audio controls.
and yeah shooting burst in raw is very slow, i can get about 3 shots and then it starts slowing down, it may be my sd card though

sorry i dont have a intervelometer, i wanted to get one but never did

50D is 6.1 fps in raw on  a  full charged battery.  7D is weather sealed, and the 60D just looks like a piece of junk imo.  Go 7D for sure.

I agree with that, but weather sealing is somewhat over rated to me. Most lenses people buy are not weather protected, so your going to need to buy a rain cover anyways.

Vintage lenses are generally cheaper and built like a tank. Weather sealed body + vintage lenses = great ski camera.

Really though. I don't see any reason to buy modern plastic lenses when you can buy fully metal primes that are twice as nice for half the price.
