good thing we live in 3 dimensions and that's all we'll really be able to understand and perceive. i can't take this shit. it would be too fucked up if we could fold ourselves through time and space to instantaneously go back to a point that was as our current selves and change something that just can't possibly be changed.
if you went back in time and killed yourself, how would there be a future you around to go back in the first place. too complicated. my head hurts. stephen hawking did make a really curious postulation about time travel though, stating that if we could travel back in time, we could only do so as observers, and not be able to have any impact on something that has already happened and thus not be able to change history in such a way that makes things all fucked up like i mentioned above. i like that idea..
