So I just bought an item on ebay and its being shipped by USPS to Canada (Quebec). It seems like its taking forever. Its in Miami for the past 4 days and nothing has happened ever since. Is USPS reliable? Will I get what I ordered between the estimated dates?

It usually takes like a week from Cali to Minnesota and since it's going out of country I'd say minimum 2 weeks.

It is a government owned business.... so it is reliable. (irony)
Since you are in Canada and it is coming from Miami it will take probably 3 weeks though, because of customs and Miami being really fuckin far away

It depends what USPS service it is. Priority usually takes 2-5 days to get from coast to coast, first class is like 3-7, parcel post is like 7-14 days. Whenever I buy/ship stuff I use priority and have never been disappointed.

Living in the US, USPS is usually great shipping especially if its priority....but being in Canada I'm sure it will take a while.

It says priority mail, but predicts 6-10 days. Maybe its customs?

Fuck customs basically. Our skis commonly get held up going to Canada for a week, just sitting at the border. Not to mention that custom officials have apparently been stealing stickers out of our packing envelopes.
We had a set of skis go to Norway last year. When we got a call from the customer wondering where they were, we called and found they had sat in customs for two weeks because a form was missing. We hurriedly submitted the form, but the skis were sent back anyways... where we immediately slapped a new $200 label on them and sent them back, this time with the stupid piece of paper describing they were in fact "Snow skis".
Fuck customs. I realize they have a near impossible task ahead of them at the start of each day, and that they do intercept a lot of illegal trafficking, but seriously, what a pain in the ass for people in this day and age. System needs a update!

Well, there's no update because that's not a tracking number, it's a delivery confirmation number. USPS is the fastest for the price when shipping domestically. I've shipped to the UK and had no problems, so don't worry. They said to expect it November 8-12 and it's November 4. Customs is the only issue, not the postal service. A quick tip: don't call the service hotline because they can't help you anymore than the website can, it's shit service (government).

That would be a customs issue. Mine came within two weeks, if that.

Fuck ordering things from Canada. I ordered stickers from NS on October 16th. Theyre still not here. They're stickers for fucks sake. Why on earth are stickers being held up in customs.
All times are Eastern (-5)
