WTF??? When did that shit blow up? All I hear from all the highschool kids is omg omg omg, pretty lights, the new ep, omg omg pretty lights tickets. Apparently sold out red rocks? Wtf is going on?

Pretty Lights blew up because thats what people think they are supposed to listen to. you will rarely find a fan that actually knows more than 3 songs. All ik is that Nov. 12th ill be seein em in Detroit... for the 3rd time.

Yeah at festivals I accept all types, I mean even the roided out guidos at coachella were pretty cool when they get enough E in their system. Its just a bummer when I go to see someone locally that I am really stoked to see because I have heard so much of their music and really have a deep connection to their tunes and then its over run with scensters bein like "omg, im leik, rolling bals right now!"

i went to a pretty lights concert saturday night in albany. never really listened to them much but the concert was pretty awesome and the live drummer was sick. Also, im almost positive he was wearing a jiberish gridded hoodie while performing, he also is based in denver so it kinda makes sense.

me and my buddys hoasted the pl after party in burlington the other night after his set at higher ground. it was 3 houses up from mine. i blew lines with Derick when he arrived. so yea all u hipsters can suck my dick and taste a little of the glory that is me!

he is a mad chill dude tho and we raged untill about 7 am. hell yea

This thread, unfortunately much like NS these days, is too much.

Bunch of conceited twats on both sides of the PL fence claiming he's either terrible, or if you like him that high schoolers and other fans shouldn't be allowed in to his shows.

I've been listening to him since day one and plugging him on this site since back in 2007......you think I care that half the people in this thread despise him or that this shows truly are run over by high schoolers and bonafide bros these days?

Hell no.....i listen to PL for the music.  His scene, the haters, the shows all come second to the fact I enjoy his music and if you do too then I say congrats.

Color Map of the Sun came out pretty recently, and in my opinion it's pretty far from mindless festival tunes.
All samples were recorded in his own studio.

All you people who are hating on Pretty Lights, you should all do your homework when you say he's not talented and that its just one guys up there pushing buttons. Look at this one Wikipedia page describing his latest album and please give me one single Dj, artist, group, w/e that's done this in the past 5 years. Please just one and I will never respond to a post again. Not only can Pretty Lights make an incredible album, his live performances are beyond great. Watch his 3 hr performance on YouTube and you will all see that he is absolutely not just pushing buttons. So fuck all you haters. Learn what real music is.
