I totally agree, personally I think the entire first world has it wrong in advocating at least some level of state sponsored health care. I think that if these matters are left in the hands of private interests it will make more sense, mainly because I was born into a hard working middle class family and I don't care about people who can't afford health insurance and things like that, they are leeches of society so why should I pay? Let them burn!

O RLY? Not that I like the other presidents, but Obama has printed a shit ton of money out. You make it sound as if there are a bunch of presidents who printed off more money, spent more money. Just isn't true. Obama really does take the cake on that. He outdid bush's spending spree in his first couple months of office.


It just sucks then when people are against a president, they dislike him for the wrong reasons. Nobody really gets down to the core issues. Then again, when was the last time the major news outlets brought them up anyway?

The problem is we end of paying for them anyways. Who do you think pays when someone with no insurance takes a $10k trip to the emergency room? They don't throw you out if you don't have insurance. Tax payers pick up the tab.

So why not put that money into getting everyone insured and improving the American health care system.

It just seems really fucked up to me that we spend more money on health care than any other country in the world, yet our system is ranked 37th in the world. Right below Costa Rica. hmmm doesn't seem quite right.

Are you shitting me?  Bush ruined the economy.  Obama's trying to fix it, you can't expect him to fix that so quickly.  Money needs to be spent to fix it, which is why there should also be much higher taxes on the rich.  And no, he did not fuck up the healthcare system.  In the long run, it is going to help millions.  Bill Clinton puts America at the point where we owe no money and we are actually making money, then Bush comes in and puts us billions of dollars in deficit.  Fucking conservatives...

He still hasn't done any real change to me... I had the expectations that he'd be like President Oprah - Everyone gets a new car, a new house, a hot tub with water from the fountain of youth, lifetime supplies of lucky charms cereal, and sour patch kids candy, fridges full of all the yungling beer they'll ever need, and the weather will always be sunny and bright.

I'm unimpressed by anything short of the absolute spectacular - just like all the rest of the Americans who saw his call for 'change' as an instant satisfaction situation...

Fact: What you just said is complete bullshit.

Bush was put into a shitty situation, that's true.  But the reason he went to war with Iraq and Afghanistan wasn't 100% because of 9/11.
Fact: The vast majority of those who were part of 9/11 were Saudi Arabian.

And Obama was put in a shitty situation too.  He was elected president while in a recession.  Here's a chart for you Republicans:

Notice how when it's blue (a democrat) we aren't too far in debt, and when it's red (republican, we go down the shitter.  I also want you to notice how we were positive with Clinton (democrat), and how for some reason, as soon as Bush (republican) comes in, we go back down the shitter.
