I have a Panasonic VDR-D230 DVD camera, and as of today I fucking hate it.
In my intro video course, we we're supposed to edit shots we recorded. I couldn't get one shot on final cut pro. Everytime I tried to drag files off the disc into final cut, it would say: error unknown file type. The only program it opened with was DVD previewer.
Also if I don't finalize the disc, the disk turns up empty. But when I do finalize it, I can't use it anymore. I feel like i'm wasting time and money on this crap.
Maybe I can get help from experienced users because I don't understand how this shit works.
Also considering selling or trading for non DVD versions.
