ive heard that the campus is really nice and the professors r pretty good there...

havent heard to many specifics but ive heard good things from 99% of the ppl that have gone there

A lot of good skiers go there, as do a lot of really good snowboarders. It's like 45 minutes from Mt. Snow if you know which way to go. It's in a pretty sweet area, aside from the townies. Good party school too.

where are you looking at thats closer to a mountain than keene state? lyndon state and green mountain college killy? under an hour is about as close as it will get for the east coast, and its to one of the best parks around.

dont go to keene state, just go for pumpkin fest, go to plymouth state in nh, its ranked a better business school, better skiing school, better party school, and just better everything. and psu is less cost

I'm a senior at Keene High and I don't care which way you go to Mt Snow, you're not getting there in 45 mins. Especially if it's icy/snowy. And yes, I know the shortcut to Snow. With typical weekend traffic, about an hour is more realistic. Okemo's a little under an hour and Stratton can be done in a little over an hour. You always have the Gorge when you don't have time to go to VT.

If you're liberal you'll fit right in in Keene. Don't forget about Topless Tuesdays at Central Square and be on the lookout for people dressed as vaginas walking around downtown. If you're for the legalization of weed, you could go clam bake the lobby of the police station with all the old hippies. These are the kinds of things that go on in Keene. Plus, the parties aren't bad.

was my first choice for campus life, location, campus in general, class size, and nearby skiing (granite gorge is ten miles down the road for when you cant get to a larger mountain)

unfortunately they only had an unaccredited bachelors degree in architecture...

seems fun for me lolz... but to the person who quoted me... i wasnt thinking of VT skiing which is a lot closer than any decent NH place (i think) i dont spend to much time in the western part of the state

I have a friend there, she loves it, and carpools to various mountains all like 45 to an hour away

I'd say if you like, go for it, skiing options will come

plymouth is probably only better for business because i have herd that the academics are weak, it's a party school and i know someone who left plymouth because all people do is party. My advise: go to keene.

I'm literally about to leave to head to keene tonight.  Pumpkinfest is crazy there. i go to unh and id say you should definitely consider it, it might not be wicked close to skiing but just like keene, or plymouth you can always get a ride to the mountains.

Keene is a beautiful area and a pretty good school though.
