Haha, I was just got done voting and was going to make this exact same thread. It's funny how everyone is so in to politics when it's the "cool" thing to do, but only a few of them actually vote in anything other than the presidential election .

I thought this would be the case.

In other the news, the can of soup I opened up like 20 min ago definitely had Clostridium botulinum, the bacteria that causes botulism in it. threw that shit out.

Except most people are far too ignorant to realize that federal law will still trump state law, even if California passes Prop 19. The Department of Justice has said they will not follow state law so possession will still be a criminal offense. Therefore, most selling will still be underground, therefore the tax revenue on marijuanna will be nearly impossible to collect, yielding not much money for the state.

I realize I will probably get roasted for this, but whatever. This is clearly one viewpoint, you dont have to believe it. Just realize the implications of the proposal. I just really do not see what it will change.

Well actually he could not actually be "powerless" because there is this thing called the balance of power between the three branches of the government (senate and house, executive branch, and the judical branch) so they all split the power, so Obama can veto any bill and 2/3 of the houses have to vote against it.

GOP is going to have huge gains in the House, projected at around a sixty seat swing, giving them the majority. Senate is looking quite tight, possibly 50-50. Therefore the VP casts the deciding vote and thats Joe Biden, a Dem. Interesting times ahead. Just glad Operation Red November is opening people's minds to the Republican party

Yeah I can't wait to break the news to people about that. Plus I don't know why anyone on the east coast cares, it ain't gonna happen here.

And I'm in delaware right now and for the next four years for school so they better not elect that insane lady.  She was at my school and made an idiot out of herself.
