If this is what the guy that I quoted meant, then I understand. Yes, I was also sort of surprised when the credits popped up, but I thought that silly little flips on a silly little kicker in front of the Lincoln Monument was golden. That was a banger in my eyes, just not the sort that other movie companies use to pull down the curtain. My surprise was more a function of the fact that my attention hadn't yet wavered...as it usually does watching ski movies. I give credit to them for making a movie where i wanted to see more, as opposed to begged for mercy.
But what I originally was getting at was that every shot and second, and song felt like they belonged. There wasn't any obvious "we'll leave these 12 shots in because you can make out the salomon logo on the bottom of so and so's skis." I think 45 minutes is plenty for a ski flick, if a touch on the short side. But, I rarely enjoy ski porn style movies that eclipse an hour. That's just me.
