You are a big guy height wise, but not ridiculously big in terms of weight, which is what matters with a ski. I have not skied the '11 or know much about it, but I can say that I am 200 lbs and skied the recent models and LOVED them. Personally, I think you will be just fine. However, you may have a tougher time in less than idea conditions on piste. If you do a lot of groomers and love to grip a hard edge and make some hard turns then you may want to go for stiffer ski with a longer effective edge. A lot of guys as big as you like skis such as the 191 mantra. If you are hitting the park much, I would recommend trying to get a big mountain ski and a more park oriented ski. At 215 lbs, it is hard to find one ski that does both well. If you can only get one ski, I highly recommend the Line Prophet 100 in a 186cm.

they measure short too, i just saw a pair in the shop the other day and tip to tail was like 179.. the guy above is right, weight does matter more, but height isnt irrelevant because your centre of gravity changes and you'll be able to get more weight out over the tips. I would go 190+ for sure if i was you..
I just didn't buy Bacons because i thought they were too soft for charging.. and i'm 140 pounds..
