Its not like anyone really cares anyways...you could walk around San Francisco smoking joints like its your last day alive and people would probably just be like, "Damn...that guy can smoke a fuckload of weed."

I've rolled past cops blatantly blazed out of my skull and they could care less. As long as you don't do stupid shit.

So really, the pot isn't whats illegal. Its the stupid shit that people do in public while high on weed that makes it illegal.

The only real battle of the bay is when its the 49ers vs. The Raiders.

My mom's had season tickets since '80(?) and we sit in the lower reserve 49er faithful section and theres always that ONE Oakland guy that starts a brawl. Always makes for a good lol. /claim

FYI: federal law doesn't trump state law. Read the Bill of Rights, what isn't stated by the constitution is inadvertently subject to be ruled on by the states law. After stating that, how our federal government acts on that.... well we all know this :) point Feds

There's no battle of the bay like the Big Game. Cal vs. Stanfurd is the only real rivalry anymore, because there's true separation. Nobody cares about teams who blow ass all day like the Raiders and 49ers.

49ers fans are mostly just pussies who don't drink enough anyway... my cousin from San Mateo got kicked out of the stadium for standing up, yelling, and telling the team A: to stop sucking and B: to start playing with heart. He stopped being a 49ers fan on the spot... and decided to only follow college.

49er fans leave in the 3rd quarter to beat the traffic home.. it's happened every time i've gone to one of their games, and it happens even if they arent getting blown out. It's fucking weird.

meanwhile, Raiders fans suck, because nobody actually shows up to games unless they love halloween that much.... I cant blame them really, since they've been awful for years now... but they notoriously wont sell out and its pathetic compared to other teams.

That said, Least their diehards are loud, obnoxious, facepainted, and drunk as football fans SHOULD be.

I disagree.

I'm always there till the end of the game and then for a short while after that. And I've NEVER been kicked out of a 9ers game for cheering too loudly/too vulgar. If you haven't been to a 9ers game and sat in the 49ers faithful section, you'd be surprised at what people get away with. Chants of "Fuck the Refs", etc. are regular. No one gets kicked out unless they try to run out onto the field or get into fights.

I agree and disagree... I know people who are extremely successful but like to get occasionally. I also no people who literally do nothing and smoke weed all day. I thinks its all about what you choose to do while high and how motivated you are naturally

i used to smoke weed a lot when i was a kid, and now, im 24 and realize.. shit. it didn't do anything positive for my life. why couldn't i have realized this sooner? sure, i'll go out and booze heavily here and there.. get drunk on a friday night, whatever.. but i don't understand how people can feel the need to be high all the time. maybe they just didn't get enough hugs as a child and as a result feel inadequate and that it's the only way to mask the emo kid pain of every day life. if you have to be in an altered state of mind to be happy, you pretty much fucked up somewhere along the line..

see here's a great example of the stigma surrounding pot. i know you wouldnt think differently of your doctor/fireman/policeman etc if he told you he has a drink when he gets home, but for some reason you subconsciously add something into the equation when talking about pot and imply that people are going to be getting high at their job or something

"it's not productive" (-the poster below the one i quoted) uhh yeah same goes for thousands of other things. OH NO youre not directly being more productive when youre smoking! such a shame when otherwise you'd be watching tv, going on the computer, jacking off or some other completely "unproductive" thing. i'm sure when you drink you're soo productive

btw anathema this isnt an attack on you, just sayin..

No people are not ignorant because they don't think the same way I do, they are however ignorant for voting in a Governor who already fucked California up once and are to stupid to see that he will do it again. (and I am a registered Dem, still hate Brown.)

As for prop 19 it is sad that it did not pass, however there were a few things in the bill that I would like to see changed before it gets passed.

i guess the problem i have with this whole situation is that the legalization of marijuana will facilitate and act as an enabler to those binge habits, and people will do away with moderation and feel compelled to smoke more and more simply because they can. yeah, alcohol is legal too, but there are also strict rules in place concerning where and when it's acceptable to drink. you can't just sip away at a bottle of jack out on the streets. with weed, i'm reluctant to believe they'd have as easy a time confining where and when people can smoke like they can with alcohol. plus, alcohol can make people sick, and younger people often don't drink because it's too strong and they physically can't. from personal experience, i'd say it'd be a lot easier to get addicted to weed than it would be alcohol.

btw, going out and boozing heavily isn't fucking positive, I had three friends get alcohol poisoning last saturday and one got a ride in the ambulance. whatever negative stereotypes surround weed mean don't compare to when friends get dangerously drunk and starts puking everywhere and passing out in their own puke. fuck booze.

it's especially ironic when people with thousands of posts on this site spew shit on here about potheads being unproductive.. face it, everyone's day (at least in america etc) does not consist of working nonstop. the notion that since i blaze and fuck around while you just fuck around at night/after work/whatever i'm less "productive" is hilarious

hate to keep getting on your back here but 1) it's still gonna be illegal to smoke in public, before/at work, and while driving etc. 2)people get boozed the fuck up every day at work/lunch in the business world, if you're more worried about a high person doing important jobs than a person who's drunk, i just dont understand that. 3) it's harder to get away with smoking where you shouldnt than it is to drink. the idea that people are gonna be blazing that shit up every day and everywhere just cause it's legal (to smoke in PRIVATE) is pretty laughable. and booze is way more addictive than pot

I am doing something important with my life and I prefer blazing to drinking. i was a full time student til i graduated this spring with good grades. now i work as a video editor/photographer at a marine bio lab to help engineers try to make better camo for the military using techniques and materials taken from nature and animals. so i think youre gonna have a hard time proving that because i blaze when i chill with my friends after 10 pm when i leave work, i'm less productive than non-stoners
