Not getting defensive just curious considering 90% of Newschoolers is on Jiberish's cock and then the second the line drops it's suddenly cool to hate the company.

Sure, not everyone has to dig it every season but people seem to have no patience for the catalogue. Even after expressing so much excitement for it. I mean, the jiberish thread had about 8 pages of nothingness added to it yesterday due to the hype over the look book.

At first look, I was purely disappointed; however after reviewing it several times the majority of the pieces have grown on me, and I think they did an excellent job this year. Props Jiberish!

yeah thats true.. I dont own anything jibberish so meh...
If im honest, i feel as though some of their stuff doesnt look good because of the way its worn on the models. People see jibberish as clothing they wear to their knees and thats the image of someone in jibberish, so to model a catalogue with it all 'fitting' could be deceptive and maybe when you see people in it in a bigger size opinions may change

I'll meet you halfway and say that i thought that a few of the styles that jiberish is introducing this year are terrible, that Zip-up crew neck being the prime example.

And to the rest, it'll be cool to see what this line looks like in Newschoolers sizes. aka, 14 year olds wearing 4xl.

i mean i agree with you in some respects, but to not-a-gangter i think your a fucking idiot.

lets get this strait, jiberish is now a modern clothing/streetwear brand that sponsors skiers and skaters, over the past years it has aquired enough stability and a strong enough core audience to sell to (newschoolers) that it can persue its true motivations as a company.

that being said the models SHOULD be wearing their clothes in sizes that actually fit becuase they aren't just selling to skiers anymore. Personally i wear jiberish in regular sizes off the mountain and i rarely wear it while skiing, saying that noone wears it like that is rediculous and stupid.

if you want to buy your shit in XXXXL and it fits you the way you like it then go for it but dont bag on kids who have a different deffinition of fit.

I can't tell if you are being serious or not...honestly because you haven't said a single thing that has made sense to me.

Is "core" not the word used to describe an organization that's overall goals are supposed to be based on the prosperity and continued social success off a sport? Because I think thats what it means, or is generally assumed to be in the action sports world. (Assumed widely enough that a ski brand was named after it...COREupt?? Not that they are actually "core")

So by wanting a company that you feel "cares more like skiing" you want a "core" brand. Is that so hard to understand?

Oh and, add a course for reading comprehension, and one more for Logic.

They just put out a FREE 40 movie highlighting their athletes. They just were the headline sponsor of the Midwest SKI FILM FESTIVAL. They have openly stated that they intend on using their popularity in other segments to help bring attention to what is going on in skiing.

Should the models only wear stuff on the snow and in ski clothes so you can see the sizing? Take a look around the next time you venture into a city and see what is going on. They are once again on top of what's up in terms of style.

What do you want them to do? Do you want them to only sell to ski stores? That way maybe every single kid will have Jiberish and it can become uber played then. Is that what you want? They have spread out their retailers all over the globe and have done their best to avoid saturation.

You sir, are a moron. Just sit in the corner and we can let you come play with the adults after a 10 minute time-out.

I am currently wearing my Jiberish Hatchmen Green also if anyone is curious.

So no I don't have hate for Jiberish I just think you guys should try and understand where Jack (not_a_gangster) is coming from on this. Well, I could really care less about the sizing of the guys in the lookbook, it could have been a little more varied in the fit, but as long as some of them have a nice design and come in bigger sizes i'm fine. I definitely understand where all of you guys are coming from though. Personally, I don't mind them having pieces that are not of skiing look and/or fit, as long as they do have several that are. I do think that the ratio of skiing style to streetwear style should have been changed, but hey, they've got a bunch more stuff coming out and plus, I can't afford to spend all of my money on every piece Jiberish has. So I'll just buy one or two things that I like in the size I like, and i'll be happy.
