Cold Sores!!!

FUCK. So this is kinda weird so yesterday I was watching the show Bored to Death and a guy on the show had a cold sore. I get cold sores probably like twice a year and they completely SUCK. I was thinking, damn that must suck for that guy because cold sores suck so much. Guess what happens this morning? I have a fucking cold sore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im so pissed and i've been applying abreva all day. Is there anything else I can do to stop it or make it heal really fast? I can't go the whole week with this thing

I feel your pain dude, I get those once in a while, and they suck. They hurt a lot and you look like an ogre. There's nothing you can do really other than using that cream stuff. Mabeye ice it?

cold sores are from herpes simplex type 1. genital herpes is from type 2. cold sores can appear randomly or from stress or uv exposure. the vast majority of all people have herpes type 1, it is just dormant and never shows up. the virus hides in our 5th cranial nerve ganglion and just hangs out usually. i think that's right...i didn't look up anything. you would probably find answers faster by googling or looking on wiki.

I get them ever couple of months. Heres what you do. FOLLOW THIS

1. Get Abviva
2. Put it on your giant ass cold soar DIRECTLY FROM THE TIP
Don't use your finger because when you do, your getting whatever is on your finger on your coldsoar. Also your finger soaks some of it up.
3. Let it sit in a big glob on your coldsoar until it disolves, then do the same thing over, for at least a day or two.

In 1 day you'll see a huge improvement. In 3 it probably will be almost gone or not noticable.

Lysine works if you take it right when you first feel it. if the thing has already formed its probably too late. couldn't hurt though.

if its still small and not scabbed over, take a tack or tweezers and poop it and get everything out you can. just make a small hole so it isnt noticeable and drain it out. throw on some abreva and your good to go
