why the hell would all these people make these videos? the google ads program pays depending on views. I don't know exactly how it works, because I haven't made a 2 million view video, but I know it does.

look at the thread on here of the guy who filmed his cat with an ipad, "Iggy investigates an ipad". he made a ton of money, and so will this fat ass when you watch it

They make money from the ads per views, subscribers, comments, responses, etc. more popular the video, more money you get

You need to be asked by Youtube.com if you would like to start being paid for making videos. I know this because i have a friend who was recently asked if he would like to start making money off of the videos he made. I think that is the only way to make money off of youtube, unless of course you have a company or something that will pay you for putting up a video using their product or something.
