Was I in the wrong?

Just came out of a weird debate with a guy on ebay, I'm pretty sure I did nothing wrong here, kinda confused atm.
Basically, ski listed as 07/08 volkl wall, placed a bid of about £100 (about $160) on it. Next day check back, realised the picture didn't look like the walls, googled them, turns out they are bridges.

Me: "Hi,
Yeh you've listed this ski as the Volkl Wall but the ski in the picture is the Volkl Bridge, I have placed a maximum bid of over £100 for what I seriously hope is the volkl wall as I already own a pair of bridges. Get back to me quickly please."

"there is no need for the seriously . i am just a bloke selling my old kit. so far people off ebay seem to want blood aswell as questions . i am not tirent and am just want this equipment gone. if you wish to talk to me like a human please call 07511603247. i am happy to have a plesent chat not a rant.

Ok, I see where your coming from but do you not think it might have been wise to check whether they were the ski your were told before you attempted to sell them? Google images would have confirmed it in a few seconds, unfortunately these skis are volkl bridges so yeh if I win I would like them relisted.
I really wasn't trying to sound like I "wanted your blood" in my message, I was simply very worried that I may have just wasted £100, I'm sure you can appreciate that. I have re-read my message to you and am very confused at how it was a rant/not human.
Guess all I have to say is thanks for getting back to me quickly and make sure your selling the item that you list in future.

i see what your saying , i find ebay very stressfull. and all of my time is taken up with emails. to be fair i will keep them as walls and you will see that i have made a note. and why would i research something like that. i was told they were walls and no-one untill you has said any different. dont worry if you win i wont hold you to it.

What do you guys think, shall i reply? Also, he hasn't even changed the listing, kept them as walls and he still thinks there walls.
