Help a brotha decide (car oriented)

A few months ago I bought this project 1973 Camaro. The bish has a 1970 350 LT1 in it,I bought some parts, did body work, some motor work, primered it etc.
Looks exactly like this one

But I'm 17, the thing gets maybe 8 mpg and is impractical as fawk. Far from everyday driver. I'm about $6g's into it thinking about selling it and buying something like this

camaro is badass as shit but i would go with something a little more practical. the subys always a good option but personally i like audi quality better and the quattro AWD is the breast IMO

I'm all for subarus but I was paying close to $200/mo for insurance on my 98 outback because they hold their value really well. Then again if you're 17 and have 6 grand to spend on a car you can probably afford the insurance.

Yeah it's my only car. I love it and would hate myself if I sold but I don't have the money to own 2 cars.

Spent four grand I saved up on it and then put another 2 grand I made into it. The insurance is dirt cheap on it since it's considered an antique. I'm dead broke now, don't think I'm getting any handouts.

dont sell it

my truck gets 8mpg, and also has a 1970 lt1 in it...
mine dinoes at around 420 hp

put efi on it, with junkyard parts you can inject for under 500 and get at least 12-15 mpg

def keep it. Its a really nice car. In a few years you might have enough money to own two cars or, you can sell that car for some good money.

dump the car. who the fuck do you have to impress at age 17 any way. you gonna take your buddies roadtripping for a weekend in a camaro? there's plenty of time to look like an old guy when you're actually an old guy..
