Oakleys and Lenses question

Ok so I just ordered some crowbars, jet black frame and black irid lense. Well I expected them to look like henriks at :50 seconds of the B&E show 4. But they dont look just like that.. my lenses arent as dark.  So is it just because of the lighting or does he actually have a different lense.

the lens in the video is either dark grey or grey polarized.

It's grey polarized...why would a sponsored athlete choose a $40 un-polarized lens when they could get eh $120 polarized lens for free...

because the dark grey lens is darker than the grey polarized...thats why

true but maybe Oakley wants him to endorse their new lens.
it is most likely grey polarized though.

Do you know this for a fact...cause if so then you have obtained more knowledge than me somehow. And I've seen and worn the grey polarized...and I can't really imagine it getting any darker.

You're right, he could be endorsing the new dark grey, but if we don't know, then what's the point. Personally, if Oakley said, you can pick which ever lens you want...I'd pick the grey polarized, not cause it'll make me look thug, but because it's one of the best lenses they make - it's the only lens I know of that you can wear on both overcast and bluebird days at not notice the difference.

yes exactly.. i obviously know he gets them for free. I am just looking for the darker lens. whether it is grey polarized, dark grey black irid i dont know
i mainly just want the darker lense so if anyone is 100% sure which that is i would appreciate it.

Black Iridium is more like a brownish mirrored lens.

Grey Polarized is the lens "murdered" lens, it's straight black. My understanding is that the Dark Grey is the same, just unpolarized, I don't think it's any darker, but I haven't seen it in person.

ya i have the new dark grey lens and its darker than my friends grey polarized...no hate intended but yes it is darker and also there was another thread where someone from oakley commented and said that the dark grey lens would be darker than the grey polarized...

but ya i would wear the grey polarized over the dark grey because it is a lot nicer but who knows they may not just because its darker and looks more thug ya know...

pretty sure its darker i have the dark grey and have seen grey polarized and i think it is darker
