How far must you drive to ski?

Couldn't find any old threads on this. How far do you all have to drive to get to your home mountain? Depending on traffic, it takes me about 1 1/2-2hrs each way & 3/4 of a tank in my jeep. Just wondering how crazy long some of your drives are. Thanks

well basically i live about 300m from the beach so when i want to go skiing i have to drive about 6 hours to get to the town and then about 30 mins to the mountain. I live in Australia.

its about a hour and 15min to stevens. and we only use about 1/4 of a tank one way in out pilot.

45 mins from pats peak (sadly my "home" mountain..
but my vermont house is 30 mins from okemo, 40 from killy, and close to a bunch of smaller mountains.

15 minutes to toggenburg mountain, with 700 feet of vertical drop and one of the most legit parks in CNY, especially for it's size.

thanks for posting everybody, crazy to see the range from a couple of minutes to 4hrs. Im sure i'll blow up my jeep someday trying to get 50+ days a season every year.

one 1 1/2 hours to the closest alp mountain. or the skatepark when it snows to practice grinding. we have a nice roll in and you get perfect speed.
