click on the 2nd picture it's the best one, i tried this jacket on and it is incredible plus the entire first ascent line is the best outerwear ever

you can pick up a nice pea coat pretty cheap. great looking, only downside is they are tough to keep clean, especially with animals.

I have both of these.  They work for almost any situation where a winter jacket is needed but I don't want to wear my ski coat, and they're not overly expensive.

north face denali is like anti hood. more of like suburban white kid clothing. Pick up a canvas carhartt with the hood. Very legit, very warm, dope secret pockets. and pea coats are in no way cool, pretty much completely yuppie clothing

My last post wasn't sarcastic at all and north face fleeces have become hood. Everyone and their grandmother who lives in a rowhome in baltimore city wears one. Yeah they are also worn by preppy kids but can't you come up with something better to wear. Why do you wear them? There are better made, less expensive, and more functional fleeces and outerwear out there. Just want to look like you are outdoorsy? Buy from a real outdoors company.

+1 for wool overcoats, sportcoats, and outerwear that is actually good and not just well marketed.

I know this is just going to add to N-U-G-G-E-T's confusion of whether I am being sarcastic or not but check out this quote from a very reliable source:

First off, that RMU pea coat is dope as fuck.

second off, pea coats, toggle coats, certain trenches and military inspired coats, all fucking rock, particularly because they can be worn both casually and formally. A nice pair of comfy jeans, a good Tee or button down, and a pea/toggle coat? lay-dee killer.

This makes me wish it was colder so i could wear my plaid toggle.

stop acting like it's worth the price they charge and is comparable to real outerwear you silly fuck, i didn't say i was better than anyone or if I do or don't wear northface, i'm wearing a tnf t-shirt at this exact moment. I was just saying that there are better options for the money.


and i do like seersucker and have a ss sportcoat but it's really for the memorial day to labor day time slot, tweed ftw all fall and winter

I picked up a couple year old bonfire jacket with furlike collar for $25 at the swap, washed it. good as new. its just a warmer shell, so it aint getting all ridiculous

Get a Penfield jacket, they're made in America (mass) are more or less timeless and are straight up sick, plus they're functional for when you really need a winter jacket on.
