FKS 120 world cup vs FKS 180

can anyone tell me if there is a major difference other than the colour? Cause there seems to be more cheaper options for the world cups.
I know that the 120 have a din of 4-12 and the 180s 8-18. But like I'm 145lbs so I really don't think I'll need a din over 12.... And I've noticed the break is on the 12 is only 75mm. Has anyone had experience putting a wider break on them?
Any input would be great!

Like it seems the 120 WC is marketed towards racers, will it be ok in the park? Like it looks more or less the same as the FKS 180s other than colour and din. Just wanted to check with you guys that is the case.

Well, the DIN (as you pointed out) is a big difference. The 180 is heavier, but more durable and has the wide brake. The 120 has a skinny brake, so unless you bend them or can somehow find a wide brake baseplate to switch it out you can put them on most twins.
Look at the 140s too, you'll be able to get the wide brake and not have to pay for the 180 and not have to have the power of the 180 since you really don't need it.

they're the same heel, the 120 toes are plastic vs the 180 toes which are metal. all FKS are marketed towards racers, they're race bindings, so you're responsible for bending the brakes
if you're 145lbs i really doubt you need a din of 18, the 120's will be fine and most likely a lot cheaper

Also the fact of the 18's not having vertical toe release.

exactly, other than the lower din, the only difference is the toe-piece. The 120's toe-piece has vertical release, while the 180 does not. Also, the toe is plastic in the 120s and metal in the 180s. id do the 120 at your size

Threads because i'm looking at buying fks 120 and wondering what the difference between them and the 14 and 18 fks is, other than din setting.
