Goggles + glasses?

my friend has glasses and is wondering what goggles other people with spectacles recommend. he does not have an account so i posted this for him. thank you for any suggestions

i am assuming eg2s are good but those are rather expensive he says

your friend should just get contacts, it is so much better then wearing your glasses, and there is  a ton more goggles to choose from.

yeah i would highly recommend contacts. i tried with my glasses last year and it was a complete fail.. if he has trouble seeing from far away, then i dont think this should be too much of a problem.

like the above said, get contacts. it will help your friend with seriously everything, and let him get whatver goggle he wants. theyre also better for skiing because you have more perriferal(sp?) vision and your goggles will be much more comfy.

Definitely get contacts... I skiied for two years with glasses and it sucked - they fog up easily, if you eat shit you can bend them, they aren't very comfortable, and it's just a pain having to wipe your glasses every once in a while since you can't even see from them fogging up. At first when I got contacts I got them mostly for skiing... But then I realized they're really useful in other sports too - especially contact sports. So for sure they're worth it!
