Sick of all the ski movie arguments

i'm getting really tired of all this constant argument about "which ski movie is better" or "which skier is funner to watch" ect... the point of having multiple ski movies is so that they're DIFFERENT. whats the point of saying MSP or TGR are bad because they don't have urban, or saying Level 1 doesn't have enough big mountain? they each display the progression of the sport in different areas, and have the most bad-ass skiing in different areas... who cares if some movies like MSP have voice over.. i personally like i feel like it makes it more a movie with flow and not a really long edit... but if you don't, big deal. I think the only aspect of movies worth debating (at least between pro movies) is the editing/filming... but i hear so many people saying stuff like "MSP wasn't that great cause it wasn't well rounded.... and then talking about how "well rounded" level 1 is.... I love level 1 flicks but their definitely not "well rounded"... most of their big mountain/back country wouldn't even come close to making a TGR or msp movie... additionally... if all movies filmed the same skiers, and the same stuff, had the same sound track and the same format why the hell would you ever want to watch more than 1... personally.. i love how different the ski movie companies are cause it makes it interesting to see the different areas the sport is going... each of them just and crazy and progressive as the other.

I don't think there's discussions going on about which movie is better; in an absolute kinda way.
It's just that everyone's forcing their own opinions on to each other, and yes, that sucks.
Oh, and your post was hard to read. Try using dots, comma's, hard returns etc.

I am less interested in what movie someone enjoyed more, and more interested in why they came to that decision. If someone says "I like level one better than poor boyz because poor boyz does not have enough urban," to me that is an endorsement of poor boyz, since I don't like watching urban stuff.

Exactly. A lot of us can't afford to buy all of the movies, and naturally kids want to know which movie they should spend their money on. People are generally pretty specific with why they didn't like a movie so you can get some good info from it. Yes it's a matter of personal opinion but you also find out that Revolver's soundtrack is almost entirely dubstep and things like that which may not neccesarily make the movie better/worse than another but will tell you whether you are more likely to enjoy it personally.
