5'10" tall, should I get the 177 or 166 afterbangs?

The only other skis Ive had are 178 Anthems, they were cool but sometimes they felt like they were too long but I don't know shit about skiing or skis so what do you guys suggest?

You don't know shit about skiing...that's not good!
But yeah...if you still grow (you probably will?) you might wanna get the 177's. Personally I like long ski's.

It also depends on how big you go. If you huck 70 ft'ers no problemo, you want to get the bigger ones... If you're not/still learning/don't think you'll be going super big anytime soon, you might get the shorter ones. A lot of people are probably gonna disagree with me on this one and say you should get the 177's no questions asked, which makes sense, but 177 might be a little big if you're just starting of park skiing. 177 might be a líttle too big for you at the moment, but by 3 cm's max. And 166 is too short.
So...nvm what I was blabbering in the beginning. Just get the big ones. You're really gonna be held down if you get the shorter ones...166 is really short! Go 177!

Maybe specify your weight and level of skiing too; that'd help.

177. depends on your weight, style, and ability, but most likely 177.

177s - no question, I'm 5'8" and I rode the 177s last year. You need the extra length because they're so soft, if you go with the 166 you'd have to make sure you land very evenly or you'll wash out.

177 for real. 166 would be so short, but there are some people who like short skis i guess. i'm 5'9 and ride 181s

i would have to say 177... i went with 169 domains just so i can fit them in a year... and considering how soft of a ski the afterbang is, it would be a good idea to go for the longer length
