I'm thinking about buying some prodigy's but i'm not sure which lens to get. the ignitor seems to be a more all around lens but platinum seems to be more mirrored. i definately want a mirrored lens.
are they both pretty mirrored?
which one is more mirror?
how do they compare to oakley's black iridium?
Also what does they Gold Mirror Sol-X look like. and what's the difference between the Gold Mirror Sol-X, the Sol-X, and the Gold Mirror?
pics would be awesome

Your biggest indicator of lenses and the conditions they are best suited for is the VLT number, which is Visable Light Transmission and is the percentage of light that the lens allows to pass through to your eyes.
The Ignitor lens is 35% VLT rated while the platinum is 25%. The platinum will perform better on sunny days but will be outperformed in flat light conditions by the Ignitor lens.
The Sol-X lenses should only be used for bright, sunny days as they block all but 7-10% of the light and will totally blow in flat light conditions. Black iridium from Oakley is also 10% VLT and is a poor choice for flat light conditions.
Best choice, spring for two lenses; a sunny-day specific lens and a flat light lens, For example, I use black iridium for sunny days and High Intensity Yellow lenses for flat-light days. If you have to choose one, spring for the Ignitor Mirror. That lens is like an all-season tire; it's can do everything, but excels at nothing.
